I proof all of my transcript work using PDFs. While this might seem very modern to some, I guarantee that once you try it, you won’t go back to hard copies or errata sheets! No more fuzzy and cumbersome scans or wasted minutes trying to find the errors based on line and page numbers. All you have to do is convert your document to a PDF and send it to me. (For instructions on how to do this, click here.)
Once I receive your email, I will make corrections to your document directly on the PDF. Once I’m finished, I’ll email back to you only the pages that have corrections and annotations, so none of your time is wasted trying to find which pages have annotations. You can then open the annotated and corrected PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Voila!
I can proofread and edit your manuscript using PDFs, Track Changes in Microsoft Word, Collaborate in Apple Pages, and revisions and comments in Google Docs.
