Preferences & REFERENCES
I always take your preferences and wishes into account. This is your reputation and your job. I’m here to assist you, not make your life harder by insisting on a different set of rules. Please fill out a preference sheet or send me a final copy of one of your transcripts. By doing this, you’ll make sure your transcript is proofed to your specifications. I’ll follow your preferences to the letter.
I use the following reference guides when proofreading your transcript:
- Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters by Lillian Morson
- Court Reporting: Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation by Margie Wakeman Wells
- The Gregg Reference Manual
- Merriam-Webster Unabridged Dictionary
